For Fall/Winter 2022, Carhartt WIP has collaborated with Liberty Fabrics, creating a capsule that ushers in the festive season. Liberty Fabrics has been at the cutting-edge of design and the decorative arts since 1875, and is renowned for its intricate patterns and refined details. Designed by an in-house team in London, the fabrics are printed in Northern Italy using a mixture of innovative technology and age-old techniques.

Drawing on Liberty Fabrics’ rich archive, this collection sees the creation of a two-piece set of pajamas which reference two classic Carhartt WIP styles in their design. The shirt’s patch pockets nod to a classic chore coat, while the corresponding pant features a hammer loop and knee panel detailing, traditionally found on the brand’s Double Knee Pant. This utilitarian base is softened by the garments’ deep hues of purple, tan, and gold, executed in a classic Paisley print. The set is complemented by a Carhartt WIP made with Liberty Fabrics sleeping mask, which utilizes the same print.
The accompanying images for this collaboration were shot by London-based photographer Scott Gallagher, channeling a modern-day twist on a bacchanalian feast.
